Call for Nominees

The Society for Applied Anthropology (SfAA) Nominations and Elections Committee is seeking names of potential candidates for the following elective offices:

President-Elect (one position)
Board of Directors Member (two positions)
Nominations and Elections Committee Member (one position)
Student Representative, Board of Directors (one position)

The Nominations and Elections Committee seeks candidates who, by prior experience or stated commitment, aim to help shape and support the goals of the SfAA and who can commit the time to this responsibility. Candidates for the President-Elect, Board of Directors, and Nominations and Elections Committee serve three-year terms, and they must be Society Fellows in good standing.

Please consider these leadership positions with SfAA. To nominate oneself or a colleague, provide the following:

1) A nominee statement of no more than 500 words. The statement should include information on the nominee’s experience and expertise relevant to the position, including their experience and prior involvement and service to the SfAA. The nominee should describe their vision of what they hope to accomplish if elected.

2) A resume or CV
