Adjunct Instructor 3 - Anthropology

Ferris State University Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences seeks qualified candidates to teach courses in both introductory Cultural Anthropology and Physical Anthropology, plus other Anthropology courses in keeping with instructor qualifications and department demand. The position requires a combination of online and face-to-face instruction on the Big Rapids, MI campus. However, the candidate selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment.

The anticipated start date for this position is August 2024 at the earliest and January 2024 at the latest. However, these are estimated dates and can be revised if needed.

Required:

  • Master's Degree in Anthropology.

  • Evidence for potential for effective and innovative instructional practice.

  • Prior teaching experience.
