The third biennial Texas Applied Anthropology Summit (TAAS) will take place on Saturday, September 28 on the campus of Texas State University in San Marcos, TX.
The single-day event will include a poster session; a morning resume, interviewing and professionalization event; and two concurrent afternoon sessions (with options to attend methods workshops, a panel on anthropological entrepreneurship, and a facilitated discussion on diversity in applied settings).
Registration for the summit is now open. The cost is $20 for students and $30 for professionals and faculty; this includes breakfast, lunch and snacks. Details of the conference including the program and the registration page can be found at: https://txappliedanth.com/.
