Assistant Director, Native American Affairs (Native American Affairs Liaison)

The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking applications for the agency’s Native American Affairs Liaison. The incumbent will serve as the Assistant Director, Native American Affairs, and report directly to the Director of the National Park Service. The Native American Affairs Liaison has Service wide responsibilities for representing the NPS, its programs, and the Director to Tribal Governments and other Native American, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian groups and related organizations. 

Open / Closing Dates: Friday, April 17, 2020 – Sunday, May 3, 2020

LOCATION: This position is located in the Washington, D.C. Office of the National Park Service. Relocation expenses may be paid in accordance with agency policy.

SALARY RANGE: $121,316.00 to $170,800.00 / Per Year (This is a federal government job on the General Schedule Pay Scale at GS-14 with full promotion potential to GS-15.) A career with the U.S. Government provides employees with a comprehensive benefits package.
